What Santa does

Santa opens the Big Book on his lap. There is a fresh page with your child's name at the top, and nothing on it yet.

The elves cannot make anything for a child whose page is empty, and the book goes to the workshop tonight. Santa needs three things, fast.

He asks what your child loves doing, what makes them laugh, and one thing they are proud of. One question at a time, with real delight at every answer.

Then he reads the page back out loud in your child's own words, pen scratching, and the elves cheer from the workshop.

What you fill in beforehand

One thing your child is proud of, or loves doing. Santa makes it the highlight of the page.

Parents ask

Is this the right call for a first time?
Yes. It is the gentlest call: no task, no countdown, only questions about your child. Good for ages three and up.
Does Santa know my child's name?
Yes. You enter the first name, age and a few interests before the call. Santa uses them from his first sentence.
What if my child goes quiet?
Santa waits, then asks something smaller. You can whisper a hint to him during the call; your child does not hear it.
